Login Problems in Single Sign-On

If you are experiencing login issues with one or more of the applications please see the steps to assist you with resetting/obtaining your login information. 

 

First, if you are unaware of your username and/or password please utilize the following steps. Select "Login Help" located next to the "Login" button depicted below.

Please choose one of the options provided on the login help page. 

Based on the option chosen you will be prompted for a combination of email address, username, and security questions. Below are the steps needed for each of the login help options listed above. 

 

Forgot Username

This will require access to the email used to set-up the account.

NOTE: If you are unaware of the email address used to set up the account, please attempt to use the email changed option.

If you continue to experience difficulty please contact the Office of Management and Enterprise Services Help Desk. 

If the email address entered is either incorrect, contains a misspelling, or is in the incorrect format you will receive one of the following error messages.

Once a valid email associated to Single Sign On is entered, an email will be sent containing the login ID for the account as shown below.

NOTE: Users also have the ability to change/reset the username without logging in as well. Please see the Reset Username Section for additional information.

 

Below is a sample of the email is generated.

NOTE: These emails are sent from a noreply@www.ok.gov which in some organizations is flagged as Spam or Junk mail. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder for this email. If you still do not see the email, please check with your email provider or internal technical support to ensure the mail server as not blocked the email from being viewed in your email box.

NOTE: This process is validating that the email address provided does in fact have an account profile within Single Sign On. This is not validation that the email address and username that is emailed is associated to the agency application the user is attempting to access. The agency information provided in the email content is only referencing the location in which the forgot username process originated.

 

Reset Username

The user will be required to provide the email address associated to the account and answer security questions.

If the email address entered is either incorrect, contains a misspelling, or is in the incorrect format you will receive one of the error messages.

Once a valid email associated to Single Sign On is entered, the user will be prompted to answer two security questions as shown below.

If the answers entered are either incorrect or contains a misspelling the following error messages will appear.

If the questions cannot be answered correctly, please contact the Office of Management and Enterprise Services Help Desk.

Once the correct information has been provided, the user will then be prompted to enter in a new username as shown below.

NOTE: If you a user attempts to enter in a username that already exists with Single Sign On, one of the following errors will display.

Once a new username has been created, the user will then be prompted to Return to the Agency Application Name login page as shown below.

Email Changed

If you are unaware of the email address used to set up the account, please attempt to use the email changed option steps shown below.

If the email address entered is incorrect, the following error message will appear. If you are unable to remember the email address associated to the account, please contact the Office of Management and Enterprise Services Help Desk. 

Once the correct email address has been provided, the user will be required to provide the security question answers before updating the email address as shown below.

If the answers entered are either incorrect, contains a misspelling, or the user has not provided the confirmation key one of the following error messages will appear.

Once the correct information has been provided, the user will then be taken to the account profile in which any profile information can be modified and/or updated as shown below.

NOTE: If you a user attempts to enter in an email address or username that already exists with Single Sign On, one of the following errors will display.

Email address already in use:

By selecting the Click Here option, the user is attempting to merge the email accounts. This will allow the user to have ONE login account to manage multiple applications. Please see the Merge Accounts Section for additional information.

Login Id already in use:

Once the account has been updated, the user will receive the following successful message and will need to navigate back to the login page to successfully login with the new account information.

 

Reset Password

Once the login (or user ID) is received, select the "Forgot Password" or "Reset Password" option to update the password.

The user will be required to provide the Username and email address associated to the account and answer security questions. If the questions cannot be answered correctly, please contact the Office of Management and Enterprise Services Help Desk.

 

Once the password is reset, the user can proceed to login.

 Merge Accounts

If the user already has a Single Sign On account and needs to get access to another application they still will need go through the First Time User process. It will be slightly different than the regular First Time User steps.

There are three links at the bottom of the next screen. If the password of the SSO account is expired they need to reset the password before the accounts will be able to be merged together. The user will click the appropriate link to reset the password while in this process. Please note and remind the user that this will change their Single Sign On password everywhere they use it.

 

 

 

 

First Time User

If the user has never accessed the application they will need to go through the first time user process. The email address used cannot be used on multiple accounts.

First Time User Admin

If the user is needing access as an admin on the site, there is a different process for First Time User. Before the user can access the application for the first time, they must be added by email address by the agency. Once they have been added to the system, users will need to follow the First Time User steps.

Locked Account

When a user is locked out of their account it will not say specifically that they are locked out. This is the error message that is seen when an account is locked from too many attempts to log in.
